Join us for a stroll around Basingstoke, with an 8 mile circular walk. Meet outside the front of the station (Town side) for 10:10am.

The walk
We’ll head to Black Dam Ponds via War Memorial Park. From there we continue on to Crabtree Plantation where there is the remains of Bolton Arch. Next up, Basing Common followed by a loop through Old Basing to Barton’s Mill pub. On this particular Sunday there will be duck racing at the pub. We plan to stop for refreshment and a race or two. Finally we will head back to Basingstoke station via Eastrop Park.

By public transport
Take the 09:52 train from Reading arriving in Basingstoke at 10:10. If this train is delayed the start of the walk will be as well.
By car
Basingstoke station has parking behind the station in North Yard. If driving please ensure you leave enough time to pay for parking and to walk to the front of the station.
