Today's walk will take us around Green Park as well as some of the local lakes. Starting at Reading Green Park station, we'll walk around the 2 lakes located in the Business Park before heading towards the Kennet & Avon Canal, which we walk along as if we're heading into Reading. After some time, we'll turn left to cross over the A33 and walk along the former railway track towards the GWR mainline, which we walk under after getting there. Once under the railway, we'll walk through Southcote Linear Park before walking under the railway to cross over the Kennet & Avon Canal again and past the various lakes. This should take us to Kirton's Farm Road, which you then follow back to Reading Green Park station.

After the walk, the organiser will be hosting the Berkshire Walkers picnic in Green Park. If you're interested in attending this, please feel free to sign up via Meetup and bring some food and/or drink along.
