Today’s circular walk takes us between Bramley and the Roman ruins in Silchester. Starting at Bramley station, we’ll leave Bramley, walk along the Silchester Trail and St James’s Way to take us towards the village of Three Ashes. After walking through here, we’ll pass Dicker’s and Rampier Copses before walking around the perimeter of Calleva Atrebatum, where we’ll stop for lunch at the amphitheatre. After lunch, we’ll pass St Mary the Virgin church following the Silchester Trail North Copse and over the railway, which we follow back into Bramley to finish the walk back at the station. For those who want a pub stop at this point, we’ll be stopping at the Bramley Inn, which is a short walk from the station.

Please note, that there aren't any parking spaces at Bramley station, so you'll need to park on one of the local side roads.
