About the event

Join us for audition practice session in Berlin! This is a supportive space where actors can work on audition material, practice self-taping on camera, and receive constructive feedback. Whether you’re preparing for real auditions, want to sharpen your skills, or just looking to connect with other actors, this workshop is for you.

This is not an acting class and we assume you already know how to act. This is about staying sharp, practising regularly in front of the camera and supportive others and practising what you need to be good at in the acting world.

What to expect

• 🎭 Each participant will have time to perform an audition piece (a scene with one partner reading off camera).
• 🎥 Performances will be filmed on camera, giving you the feel of a real self-tape or casting situation.
• 📝 Constructive notes and feedback
• 🔄 Opportunity to re-do your scene and apply feedback immediately.
• 🎬 Copy of tapes available after session
• 🤝 Networking and community – meet other Berlin-based actors in a relaxed, creative setting.

What to bring

• A short monologue, scene, or script you’d like to work on, or a scene will be provided.
• Your curiosity, openness, and willingness to receive feedback.
• Notebook/pen if you like to take notes.

Who is it for?

This session is open to actors of all levels – drama school grads, working actors, or anyone wanting to explore audition practice in a safe and supportive environment. Sessions will be primarily in English, but all are welcome.
