berlin african book club

this is an offline monthly book club for african books, i.e., books by africans from the continent & set in the continent. the goal is to learn about the african continent through different stories both fiction and non-fiction.

every month we'll read a book from a different region (east, west, north, central or southern africa). no poetry books (sorry).

rules:

1. read the book before coming and make an effort to come prepared, for example, with background information about the author, country, etc.
2. come on time, listen to others as they contribute, active participation is encouraged.
3. hate speech towards any group is not permitted.
4. promoting any religion or places of worship is strictly forbidden.
