Abstract:
In this talk, we will discuss how we're using DDD Aggregate pattern to define the topic and events content. We will also review how the tool, which we're developing, keeps the events consistent inside an aggregate after being consumed or stored in an external storage.

Title of Talk: Once And Only Once - Exactly-once Semantics in Kafka Streams

Abstract:
Exactly-once processing guarantees are a hard requirements for certain stream
processing use cases like for example in financial applications. In this talk, I will show the issues that need to be solved to achieve exactly-once processing and how Kafka Streams solves them. Furthermore, I will present current development efforts to improve exactly-once processing in Kafka Streams.
