The Learnings of Karate Kid applied to Apache Kafka

Abstract:
As soon as you're in a project using Apache Kafka, or really any other data system, one of the common worries your team is going to face is how to systematically keep environments synchronized.

In this talk we're going to present two commonly used approaches to solve this problem at scale:

Database migrations for Apache Kafka with the Kafka Migration tool.
Automate continuous integration with the Kafka Topology builder.

This approaches allow teams to build scalable, automated and most important, self service solutions for managing your multiple Apache Kafka environments. Let's automate all the things!
