Friendly 2vs2 beach volleyball near Friedrichshain/Ostkreuz

Join us for 2v2 beach volleyball games in a relaxed, social setting. The focus is on building a friendly, welcoming group where everyone gets to play, meet new people, and have fun on the sand.

🌴 Where?

We play at Funkhaus Beach (https://maps.app.goo.gl/zYtZd7sS7xfbvk7y6).
Tip: take a bike/scooter from Ostkreuz S-Bahn station (faster than taking the tram).
We try to play outdoor if the weather allows, but we can move indoor if it rains or is too windy.

🏐 Skill Level

We play 2 vs 2, so you should be comfortable with the fundamentals of 2 vs 2 beach volleyball, but it's not overly competitive – just good rallies and good vibes.

📋 Format & Rules

Games played to 21 points (standard beach rules)
Mix the teams after each game, so everyone gets to play with and against everyone.

🌍 Who's Welcome?

Everyone! The group is diverse and international, so most people speak English or German.
It’s a great way to stay active and meet like-minded folks.

💰 Payment and refund policy

You'll pay in advance via Meetup when you sign up, allowing me to reserve the courts for us. There's a discount if you pay 7 days in advance.
Refund policy: if we aren't enough players or the event needs to be cancelled for any reason, you'll receive a full refund.
