Post opportunities for us to use creativity and cleverness to make things and situations that bring more balance into Berlin and the world! This forum is meant to get people active together, face-to-face and take practical steps to bring more sustainability!
Baumhaus Berlin will be at least 1 dedicated hub for sustainable development to host such activities but members are encouraged to post all sorts of events organised outside the Baumhaus as well.

Every week on Thursdays we host a regular community event normally attended by 15 to 40 people from various groups so there will always be at least 1 option for an event you can always count on...

Community Networking Night is all about bringing people together from many walks of life who share a common desire, to do what they can to make the world a better place. The whole space is what we call an, "Open Greeting Zone" where it is perfectly normal to introduce yourself to anyone and expect the same in return...
Contribution - We ask that people contribute between 8€ - 20€ for participating in the workshops and/or buffet. Feel free to bring your own drinks to share. We will have endless coffee, tea and water on hand...
# Program June 28, 2025: Community Night
#### Special Theme: Focus on Food Systems Sustainability
Community Networking Night is all about bringing people together from many walks of life who share a common desire to do what they can to make the world a better place. Enjoy meeting people in an authentic and informal atmosphere, developing organic relationships, sharing perspectives and collaboratively supporting each other.
14:00 – 23:00 Open Networking (main room) – Stop by just to say hello, meet some new people, discuss possible collaborations, volunteer for vertical garden or other up-cycling art and design projects we have going on. We are currently organizing the next Emergent Berlin festival, if you would like to know more just ask us.
15:30 – 19:00 Replanting Plants (main room) – Join us in replanting some plants in our vertical garden wall using some of the fresh worm compost soil. Feel free to bring some new plants for us to integrate into the wall.
16:00 - 19:00 Special WORKSHOPs - TBA
18:00 Community Night Cooking (kitchen) – We will have a special guest chef joining us in the kitchen for this session. If you want to join the kitchen crew bring a clean shirt plus something to tie back your hair.
19:30 Project Update : "Re-balancing Our World" video project (main room) – Earlier this year we held an Urgent Action Summit. The result was an ambitious plan to catalyze a movement. Our first step in this epic adventure is to produce an epic video to inspire and empower.
20:00 Community Night Buffet Opening – it’s all vegan, with CSA/Solawi veggies, and the standard tea, water, coffee or bring your own drinks! We recommend joining us the latest at this time so you can enjoy some of the food:)
21:00 “News You Can Use” – you can briefly (1min) introduce yourself, let us know what you need help with, if you have resources to share/offer or know of something interesting going on we might want to know about
21:30 Cleaning the kitchen and washing the dishes
