Laugh with Berlin-based funny people, Mark Beadle and Rohit Bhatia, performing a double bill of stand up comedy in English. Both comedians bring to the stage years of experience, their best material and some light-hearted banter, to give you an hour of ha has at Two Funny.

About the comedians:
Rohit Bhatia was born in Bombay, India, and worked as a crime reporter before he moved to Berlin. Nowadays, he performs in mainland Europe's top tier comedy clubs. Described as a "fascinating performer", Rohit is a sharp-witted stand-up who brings punk rock energy and journalist precision to the stage. Known for his acerbic humor and thought-provoking punchlines, he consistently hosts and headlines shows in several European and Asian capitals. He has been featured on BBC Radio, in The Guardian and in German media for his efforts at comedy. An audience favourite on Berlin’s comedy circuit for a decade, Rohit is the only Indian comic who performs in German. Expect incisive commentary and a lot of laughs.

Mark Beadle is originally from South London and has been living in Berlin for 15 years now. He has been performing comedy for over twelve years and was the host of the legendary The Nose comedy open mic. In addition to being a regular on the Berlin scene, Mark has performed throughout Germany and across the continent. He is also a qualified archaeologist, which is another fantastic way of not making money. Like many of the finest comedians, he supports Crystal Palace. He likes red wine, if you’re asking.

WHY: Currently as I am aware, there is no dark weekly open mic in English specifically for women and queer folks. So let's do this! (Everyone welcome to watch!)
WHAT: What is a comedy mic? For newer comedians and experienced alike to work out new jokes, test new ideas in a structured way.
WILL THE SHOW BE ANY GOOD? YES. Tera has over 29 years of stage experience and 7 years of stand up. She makes it fun! Also, the attitude you bring is everything - Come to support the next generation of comedians!
What is Women/LGBTQIA focused? We prioritize 80% performers who are women, queer folks. Althought that is the priority, we have occasional spots for majority dudes and we welcome everyone to attend, as long as you’re cool and inlusive! Come support!
WHAT IS UNCENSORED? This is also not a designated “safe space” meaning we welcome darker content and controversial ideas with open arms, knowing that this is a welcoming, workshop environment for Comedy! Comedy is complicated and we embrace complexity, and our variety of experiences! No overt trauma dumping! Bring your trauma but make it funny, please! We ENCOURAGE the darker, riskier side of comedy at this mic! Make sense?

WHAT IS PAY AT THE END: Pay what you think the show is worth. However, this is not a free show. We ask you pay something at the end. You get 8 acts, a night of fun, and a professional host!
TERA KILBRIDE Has over 29 years stage experience, 7 years comedy and hosting. She teaches Crowd Work and Hosting workshops as well. She has toured all over Europe (17 countries and counting!) and been on TV and at festivals.
