Cafe & Snacks
LEVEL: Intermediate
DISTANCE: 36 or 50ish km
========== FACTS ==========

========= DETAILS =========
ROUTE:
Since the weather forecast for next weekend is still tbd but I need to work on my "New Years Eve resolution" (well, the one from 2025) I want to go on tour one way or the other.
If the weather is swim-like we do the shorter one and if it's so lala we do the longer one.
Decision is made on Thursday

SPEED:
Leisurely around 16 km/h, at least if the wind doesn't come from the front.
This is like "Being able to see the details on the side of the road and enjoying the view in general… and have a chat."

DISTANCE AND TERRAIN:
These rides are either 36 or 50ish km and have mainly solid but also some forrest or soft ground.
In general: Bikes with thin tyres (Race bikes, Road bikes, Fixies), rented bikes (Uber, Swapfiets) or any special bikes (Folding bikes, BMX etc.) are not suitable! You won't have fun, trust me!
And if you want to bring Kids or Animals please get in touch before!

MEETING POINT:
TBD
I have a blue Villiger Trekking bike.
But you can hop in at any other station if you want (and dare).

TICKET:
Never forget your "24-hour ticket bicycle VBB network" ticket which is about 7,50 EUR.

WAY OUT:
TBD

WAY BACK:
TBD

RECOMMENDATIONS:
Check the train schedule in the morning! The DB loves to stir up the plans by changing trains or even platforms on short notice! If anything happens the Meeting point is the starting point of the cycling.

While we'll stop somewhere for a lunch and/or coffee please always bring your snacks but especially some drinks along!

PLEASE make sure your bike is in a proper state! Check your tyre pressure and oil the chain! Does your light work?
Having a toolset is highly recommended and a spare inner tube to fix a flat tyre a big plus! While we might be able to help in some circumstances please think about what happens if we can't! Thank you!

Bringing special equipment (Helmet, safety vest etc.) is NOT required but welcome if you feel more safe using it.
