Data Products Meetup #11

This meetup is for Product Managers, Data Scientists, and everybody interested in exchanging experience in building end-user data solutions.

Join us if you want to tell or learn about interesting data solutions, machine learning algorithms, analytics as well as custom tools. We focus on the ways data solutions were applied as part of a business process or user-facing product.

Let's discuss what you are building, how, for whom and why.

Agenda:

1. Presentation - "How different sized companies approach Data Science" by Conor Digan.

Conor is a Senior Data Scientist at GetYourGuide since half a year. His main focus is on the algorithm underpinning the search results and the ranking of activities in general. Previously, he worked as a Data Scientist for Outfittery and HERE maps.

2. Lean Coffee - select and discuss topics you are interested in.

It is a structured but agenda-less meeting. Participants gather, build an agenda, and begin talking. Conversations are directed and productive because the agenda for the meeting was democratically generated. You can read more about lean coffee at http://leancoffee.org/
