This group is for people living in Berlin who want to get out of the city, discover incredible mountain landscapes, and enjoy the challenge of hiking together.

The idea is simple: bring together a friendly community of adventurous people who enjoy being outdoors, exploring new places, and occasionally pushing themselves beyond their comfort zones.

🥾 What kind of hikes?

We're aiming for moderate to challenging hikes — scenic mountain trails, uphill climbs, rocky paths, and rewarding viewpoints.

Beginners are absolutely welcome! You don't need years of hiking experience or to be an expert in the mountains. What matters most is your curiosity, adventurous spirit, and willingness to challenge yourself.

These won't be extreme mountaineering expeditions, but they won't be casual walks in the park either. Expect some effort, a few challenges along the way, and hopefully some amazing views as a reward!

We'll aim to choose routes thoughtfully and share the difficulty and requirements in advance, so everyone can decide whether a particular hike is right for them.

🏔️ Where will we go?

Our first destination will hopefully be Sächsische Schweiz (Saxon Switzerland), which is not far from Berlin.

In the future, we might explore other mountain regions in Germany, Czechia, Poland, Austria, and beyond.

🌲 How will it work?

This is a group for exploring together, not a guided hiking service. I'm not a professional hiking guide, and I won't be acting as one. The idea is for us to discover new places as a group.

If you love nature, have an adventurous spirit, and don't mind putting in some effort to reach an amazing viewpoint, you're in the right place!
