All the platform’s a stage: A Shakespearean journey of a platform

Details

“All the world’s a stage” is one of the marquee phrases from As You Like It, written by William Shakespeare in the 16th century. The phrase talks about the seven stages of life a person goes through from birth to death. But what if I said that William Shakespeare could have also written this for platforms?

From the infancy of the portal where it barely exists, to adolescence when large teams use it, and eventually the elder years when it matured and now has everything the team needs. The portal has left a legacy, offering lessons and inspiration to the next generation of platforms, developers, and platform engineers.

Join me Atulpriya Sharma, Sr. Developer Advocate @ InfraCloud & CNCF Ambassador, in this witty, insightful, and theatrical exploration of the life stages of a platform.

During this webinar you will:

  • Understand the evolutionary journey of platforms, from their inception to legacy, and how each stage influences organizational innovation culture.
  • Gain insights into the transformative effects of platforms on work processes and their implications for developers and engineers.
  • Explore the intersection of wit and wisdom as we delve into the lifecycle of platforms, drawing parallels to Shakespeare's “All the World’s a Stage” and uncovering key lessons for fostering innovation within organizations.

After a 30-minute talk there’ll be a 15-minute Q&A, during which we encourage you to submit questions in advance.
A webinar recording and related materials will be shared with all attendees after the event.
