What we’re about
WHO WE ARE ?
Our group was founded just before Covid started and our second wine & dine event got cancelled due to covid restrictions. Then we paused events and now we will restart ! We didn't get back the original group (Berlin Wine & Dine) so this is now the followup group.
We communicate mostly in English during our events and are international & open minded. The locations where we meet are chosen by personal preference. We don't get money (and we don't want it either) from the places we choose.
WHY THIS GROUP ?
There is quite some groups for wine lovers and for foodies in Berlin. But we never found a combination of both - where the wine and the food is excellent. Sometimes there are really exotic combinations to discover (a chinese restaurant with really good German white wines) or we bring food & wine together (for example a cheese tasting with wine).
HOW TO JOIN THE EVENTS ?
When we publish new events, you can just click on join. Please be aware of the fact that most bars and restaurants have limited places and we will start in smaller groups (10-12 people). We understand that in real life there is always something that cannot be planned or is unforeseen. But if you know in advance that you cannot come to the event please give somebody else the chance to join. I will send everyone joining a private message 1 day before the event. This is just a reminder and please confirm. Thank you !
HOW MUCH DOES IT COST ?
All our events are free of charge. Some meetup groups charge for events because the organizer needs to pay for meetup. We are doing this just for fun and on our own cost. So don't worry. There will be no fees.
WHAT TO DO IF AN EVENT IS FULL ?
Please stay on the waiting list if you want to attend ! Unfortunately places in restaurants are always limited. But you have the chance to go if someone cancels. And you the size of waiting list will tell us about the demand of this event in comparison to others. We also will try to prioritize people on the waiting list for the following event. Like this everybody has the chance to attend one of the following meetings.
