Guided Walking Tour through Berlin's Historic Breweries.
(Ends at Friday Evening Social with Adam)

Meet Time: 18:00
Meet Place: Outside Melis Coffee. - Am Friedrichshain (Tram Stop)

Join me on a historical walk around Berlin’s prettiest former-industrial area, famous for its many breweries and the Queen of Sheba cigarettes.

Find out why they built all the breweries in Prenzlauerberg, the history of larger in this town, what life was like in Berlin's infamous nineteenth century Mietkasernes. We walk through the hear to Prenzlauerberg including four of the former Breweries in the area and look at the architecture of the area, the life of people in the area and industrialists who made it happen. It’s a story of how the city was made back in the nineteenth century, as well as how its changed and developed through all the change of the twentieth till today. If you like history, want to know more about the city than just nazi’s and the cold war, and want to take part in a sociable evening of exploration and discussion, come along.

I am an accredited tour guide in Berlin, specializing in telling stories about the city’s industrial heritage. I do charge a fee of 10€ for organizing this tour and for sharing my knowledge.

We meet at Am Friedricshain Tram Stop (two stops up from Alexanderplatz) and wind our way through the area, ending at the MauerPark where we will join up with Friday Night Beers to continue our evening.
Hope to see you there.
Simon
