Art Fusion Meetup is a community where artists of all backgrounds come together to collaborate, inspire, and innovate.
Whether you're a musician, film maker, visual artist, dancer, writer, or any other type of creative, this meetup is for you!

We are a group of full-time and freelance artists with the idea to create a meetup and community supporting our careers, projects, and souls. Our aim is to connect artists from different fields to add value to the films, installations, and exhibitions our members are currently working on.
With a projector, we play in a loop the artwork of the community before every meetup. We start the meetup by showcasing the work of the artists. Bring a presentation of your work if you want to show it (You can also just come and look and enjoy a beer). Later, we give the opportunity for everyone to pitch their current projects.
We have noticed a common issue at many pitching meetups in Berlin, where most projects seek free work. At our meetup, we prioritize connecting full-time artists. This means we prioritize paid jobs or projects aiming to apply for funding or sponsorship. We want to help artists find jobs or form groups to apply together for funds.
Cafe la Rue, where we meet, is a cozy place where we can offer space to write paperwork for funds. We hope our members find partners here for their next projects and succeed with their applications. However, this does not mean we aim to create a commercial atmosphere. We want to help artists find paid gigs while creating a friendly atmosphere, a place to socialize, as many artistic jobs can be lonely experiences.
We also support giving each other help, although it is currently being discussed in our community what kind of help is accepted to ask for free within this community.
