Unsere Tour beginnt am Kloster Neuzelle mit seiner barocken Klosterkirche. Wir schauen uns auf dem Klostergelände um, spazieren durch den Klostergarten und können einen Blick in das Museum werfen. Von den Oderhängen lassen wir den Blick über das Odertal schweifen.
Danach geht es auf einem leichten Wanderweg nach Eisenhüttenstadt (13 km). Dort kann, wer möchte, an einer Führung durch das Hotel Lunik, einem Lost Place, teilnehmen (ca. 80 Minuten, Kosten: 7,50 EUR; Anmeldung erforderlich unter Tel.: +49 (0)3364413690) Wer nicht an der Führung teilnehmen will, kann in einem Café in der Nähe Pause machen.
Bei einem anschließenden Rundgang durch Eisenhüttenstadt lassen wir die sozialistische Planstadt auf uns wirken, bevor wir uns zum Bahnhof aufmachen, von wo wir die Heimreise antreten.
Our tour begins at Neuzelle Monastery with its baroque monastery church. We look around the monastery grounds, stroll through the monastery garden and take a look into the museum. From the Oder slopes we let our gaze wander over the Oder valley.
Then we take an easy hiking trail to Eisenhüttenstadt (13 km). There we take part in a guided tour of the Hotel Lunik, a lost place (approx. 80 minutes, cost: EUR 7.50; registration required by phone: +49 (0)3364413690). If you don't want to take part in the guided tour, you can take a break in a nearby café.
On a subsequent tour of Eisenhüttenstadt we take in the socialist planned city before we head to the train station, from where we start our journey home.
