Kulturhauptstadt und Erzgebirgstradition

Wir besuchen am Wochenende des 4. Advent die Kulturhauptstadt 2025, Chemnitz, geprägt vom Leitmotiv "C the unseen".

Am 20.12.2025 können wir folgende Hauptveranstaltungen besuchen:

• Made Inn: Ausstellung zu Design und Handwerk. Innovative Handwerks- und Designideen aus Sachsen und Europa.
• Maker Advent Chemnitz. Es besteht die Möglichkeit selbst kreativ tätig zu werden, Lichtinstallationen zu erleben und musikalischen Performances zu lauschen.
• Der Chemnitzer Weihnachtsmarkt mit erzgebirgischem Kunsthandwerk
• '3000 Garagen" - Ausstellung zur Chemnitzer Alltagskultur. Künstlerische Projekte in und um Garagenanlagen zeigen ungewöhnliche Perspektiven städtischer Geschichte.
• Kulturelle Spaziergänge im Rahmen des Purple Path Projects.

Am 21.12.2025 fahren wir nach Annaberg-Buchholz. Dort schauen wir uns ab 13 Uhr die große Parade der Erzgebirgischen Bergmänner an.
Über 1.000 Trachtenträger aus ganz Sachsen und weiteren Bergbauregionen Deutschlands, darunter etwa 300 Bergmusiker nehmen an der Parade durch die weihnachtliche geschmückte Innenstadt teil.

Anreise: Mit ICE am 19.12. ab Berlin HbF um 14:29 Uhr.
Rückkehr in Berlin: 21.12., wahrscheinlich 21:22 Uhr

Fahrkarte kauft jeder Teilnehmer selbst, sowie die Übernachtung im Super 8 by Wyndham Chemnitz.

We are visiting the 2025 European Capital of Culture, Chemnitz, during the weekend of the 4th Advent, featuring the guiding theme "C the unseen."

On December 20, 2025, we can attend the following main events:

• Made Inn: Exhibition on design and craftsmanship. Innovative craft and design ideas from Saxony and Europe.
• Maker Advent Chemnitz: There is the opportunity to get creative yourself, experience light installations, and listen to musical performances.
• The Chemnitz Christmas Market with Ore Mountain handicrafts.
• '3000 Garages' - Exhibition on everyday culture in Chemnitz. Artistic projects in and around garage complexes showcase unusual perspectives on urban history.
• Cultural walks as part of the Purple Path Project.

On December 21, 2025, we will travel to Annaberg-Buchholz. There, from 1 p.m., we will watch the grand parade of the Ore Mountain miners.

Over 1,000 costume bearers from all over Saxony and other mining regions of Germany, including around 300 miners’ musicians, are participating.

Departure: By ICE on 19th December from Berlin Central Station at 2:29 PM.
Return to Berlin: 21st December, probably at 9:22 PM.
Each participant buys his own ticket, as well as the overnight stay at Super 8 by Wyndham Chemnitz.
