Check la Lage is a monthly English improv show at Engels Café featuring a rotating cast of international actors.

The show will begin with four actors that perform a mid- or long-form improv. In the second half, we will host a improv jam, where anyone can join the stage to practice or even try out improv for the first time !

Check la Lage – “Let’s Check it Out” if you blend a few languages – is a monthly English improv show produced by Lorenz von Römer & Stéphane Piette. We play mid- to long-form shows (one story line for up to 45 minutes with 2 stories per show) with a rotating cast of international actors taking the stage. The show is inspired by the suggestions of our beautiful audience (you!) and every performance is completely unique.
