Monthly Book Club Meeting - November

Details
Dear Book Enthusiasts,
For our November gathering, we’ll turn to the Nobel Prize–winning Colombian author Gabriel García Márquez and his compact yet unforgettable novel Chronicle of a Death Foretold.
First published in 1981, this work is rooted in García Márquez’s own Colombian Caribbean hometown and unravels the shocking murder of Santiago Nasar — a killing everyone in the village knew would happen, yet no one prevented. With his signature blend of journalism and literary magic, García Márquez explores honor culture, machismo, Catholic tradition, and collective guilt, offering a vivid portrait of Colombian society.
📅 Date & Time: 09.11.2025 at 15:00
📍 Location: Cafe and Bar Knorke – Bötzowstraße 18, 10407 Berlin
