Monthly Book Club Meeting - November

Dear Book Enthusiasts,

For our October gathering, we’ll be reading The Image of Her by the renowned French writer and philosopher Simone de Beauvoir.

Set in 1960s Paris, this thought-provoking novel follows a seemingly successful woman who appears to have everything one could wish for: a loving family, financial comfort, a fulfilling career, and a life that looks enviable from the outside. Yet beneath this polished image, there are struggles with a persistent sense of dissatisfaction and the conflicting expectations placed upon her.

📅 Date & Time: Sunday, 22 November 2026, at 15:00
📍 Location: Cafe Beatz, Neue Kantstraße 32, 14057 Berlin
💬 Contribution: As always, a €3 contribution after the meeting helps cover organizational costs.

I am thrilled to announce that, after a long absence, I am finally back on track! I look forward to hearing all your thoughts and impressions on the upcoming books!

Warmly,
Sofya
