Have you ever had a dream that felt too real to ignore? Or perhaps you've noticed strange coincidences that seem too meaningful to be mere chance? If so, you're not alone. Jungian ideas are for everyone, not just something for the books. This group is a place to discuss how these concepts show up in our everyday lives, and to connect with others who share similar experiences.
You might find a book recommendation that resonates with you, a quote that feels like it was meant for your situation, or simply a sense of connection with others on a similar path.
Jung said of Marie-Louise von Franz that she was the only one of his pupils who fully understood his ideas. Her work is a perfect entry point into these ideas. She explored the unconscious through fairy tales, alchemy, and dreams, all while making complex topics more accessible.
Whether you’re new to Jungian psychology or have already dabbled in it, this group is a space for everyone to come together, share experiences, and gain new insights. Let's explore how these profound ideas can shape our lives in ways we may never have expected.

*“*Jung saw in Nietzsche one who had greatly assisted in the nineteenth-century discovery of the unconscious, thus constituting an exception to Freud's complaint that philosophers pay attention only to the purely mental side of life.”— James L. Jarrett
Nietzsche was one of Jung’s major influences and was considered by him a sort of a psychologist in his own right. Between 1934 and 1939, Jung gave a series of nearly forty seminars on Nietzsche’s Zarathustra to a small group whose members were either in analysis with Jung or another Jungian analyst, or were Jungian analysts themselves. Marie-Louise von Franz and Barbara Hannah were also part of these seminars.
The lectures cover a wide range of topics, from connections to Nietzsche’s own life and the foreshadowing of his breakdown and death, to discussions of the Self, the body, intuition, and more.
Thus Spoke Zarathustra is one of the central works of philosophy and has inspired many later creations, such as Richard Strauss’s famous poem of the same name: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=exveTEjJa5E&list=RDexveTEjJa5E&start_radio=1Nietzsche was also deeply connected to music and even composed at times himself: https://youtu.be/Z3MuJ5vjSl8?si=0yQHtIteGK1HN5Cm
The criteria to join is not the level of Jungian expertise, but the level of interest and how much participants resonate with the group’s concept.
