This Jungian discussion group is intended as a small and personal space to foster deep thought and genuine connections among regulars.
While many groups in Berlin focus on making as many new connections as possible, this one offers a different kind of experience—emphasizing continuity and quality over quantity. Priority is given to returning members.

15:15 One or more fragments from the Seminar will be handed out to read in silence, with additional time to think, write notes etc.
15:50 Conversation based on the texts.

There is a €5 contribution (to be given at the meeting) to help cover the materials, the Meetup subscription and organisation.

Nietzsche was one of Jung’s major influences and was considered by him a sort of a psychologist in his own right. Between 1934 and 1939, Jung gave a series of nearly forty seminars on Nietzsche’s Zarathustra to a small group whose members were either in analysis with Jung or another Jungian analyst, or were Jungian analysts themselves. Marie-Louise von Franz and Barbara Hannah were also part of these seminars.

The lectures cover a wide range of topics, from connections to Nietzsche’s own life and the foreshadowing of his breakdown and death, to discussions of the Self, the body, intuition, and more.

The criteria to join is not the level of Jungian expertise, but the level of interest and how much participants resonate with the group’s concept.
