Let's meet again!
News about tools for music producers and songwriters that use AI are being released on a daily basis. This has caused excitement as well as skepticism amongst music folks.
This meetup aims to shine a light on the opportunities for creative expression with AI, how to use datasets of your own music, as well as discuss other potential impacts.

We are grateful that the Berlin Senate Department for Economics, Energy and Public Enterprises provided us with some funding for this event.

### PROGRAM IN A NUTSHELL

Witness presentations from AI & music experts who have built tools and services with the goal of enhancing creative interaction with AI. Meet and connect with like-minded individuals from diverse backgrounds, network, and share ideas.

### Presentations: 7.00 – 8.30 pm

1. Moises Horta Valenzuela will talk about SEMILLA.AI. An artistic research project focused on exploring novel forms of interaction with artificial neural networks for audio synthesis.
2. Bruno Kramm will present the Retro Future Synth Composer, his AI Composer-controlled Robotik Cimbalom from Ukraine, and midimesh, a platform for IoT sequencing on which basis the first IoT DAW will be created.
3. Steffan Ianigro will talk about the Plecto LFO, a non-linear LFO for Ableton Live that can be used as a source of gestural control within performances.
4. Portrait XO will talk about an open framework for AI and creative industries.

• Autobeat by Achillefs Sourlas: A MIDI plugin that leverages the power of AI models in order to generate MIDI beats in various styles.

PRESENTATIONS

1st Presenter: Moises Horta Valenzuela.
He will talk about SEMILLA.AI. An artistic research project in the realm of sound art, experimental music instrument building, and AI music focused on exploring novel forms of interaction with artificial neural networks for audio synthesis. Rooted in the concept of visualizing the latent space of neural networks, the synthesizer employs advanced deep learning algorithms, namely RAVE and MelSpecVAE.

2nd Presenter: Bruno Kramm
He will present the Retro Future Synth Composer (a SaaS KI Midi Composer on Transformer basis), his Robotik Cimbalom from Ukraine, which is controlled by the AI Composer and Midimesh, a platform for IoT sequencing on which the first IoT DAW will be created.

3rd Presenter: Steffan Ianigro
He will present the Plecto LFO, a non-linear LFO for Ableton Live that can be used as a source of gestural control within performances.
His presentation touches on the world of evolutionary computation and cybernetics, the use of Continuous Time Recurrent Neural Networks as a gestural agent, and how behaviors of this algorithm can be explored using Genetic or Evolutionary Algorithms.
