Join wildlife rehabilitator Angelina Carnevale to learn about turtle species that are native to Connecticut—and the threats they face.
Learn what goes into saving the lives of our shelled friends when they get hit by cars or are found otherwise in distress. Meet some turtles and learn how you can help them survive the human-altered habitats they must now live in.
This talk will include photos of injuries of real turtle patients which may be too intense for young or sensitive attendees.

Angelina Carnevale has been a licensed wildlife rehabber since 2019 and a turtle owner since 2006. She is the founder of Turtle Haven, whose mission is to help Connecticut’s native turtles through conservation, education, and rehabilitation.
