#48 (Even More) Exciting Data Visualizations with ggplot2 Extensions

This time we will have Cédric Scherer, who is a data visualization designer, consultant, and instructor helping clients and workshop participants to create engaging and effective graphics.

Creating effective and easily accessible data visualizations of high quality in an efficient and preferably reproducible way is an essential skill for everyone working in a data-related field. Luckily, by leveraging the functionality of ggplot2, R users can create highly customized graphics without the need for post-processing — and a huge number of extension packages allows you to create even more exciting visualizations and improve your workflow.

In this session, Cédric will give an overview of the world of ggplot2 extension packages and illustrate their usage and benefits by walking you through some examples of more advanced data visualizations and less common chart types.
