We all know what it's like to overthink problems and decisions. While taking time with big choices is important, excessive overthinking can become a toxic cycle, leaving us feeling stuck and unable to act.

Simply talking with others about your situation often helps break this cycle. Sharing your thoughts can clear your mind and ease the decision-making process. In this event, we’ll do just that. We'll discuss overthinking, how to reduce it and use group exercises to combat the habit of spending too much time in our heads.

If you struggle with overthinking or have a difficult decision you’d like to talk about, this event is for you.

Event Structure:

  1. Introductory Round: We'll start with a quick round of introductions.
  2. Examining Overthinking: We’ll discuss the usefulness of overthinking and how it influences our well-being.
  3. Exercise: We’ll talk about the problems and situations that trigger overthinking for us. Everyone shares only as much as they feel comfortable with.
  4. Reflection: We’ll share what we took away from the event.
  5. Wrap-Up and Feedback: At the end, you’ll have the opportunity to ask questions or provide feedback.

We will meet in the open living room (Offenes Wohnzimmer) in Moabit. It’s a very cosy room reserved just for us. You can find the exact location on the map. The event is free; however, the use of the room is donation-based, so please consider leaving a small donation for the team of the open living room after the event.
