🎤 Guest Speaker:
Jeannette, a Life Studies (Lebenskunde) teacher and media educator. She teaches at primary schools and high schools and works for the Humanist Association of Germany.
In this special meetup, Jeannette will talk about her work as a teacher, give insights into the subject Lebenskunde, and share how values, ethics, and media literacy are taught in schools today.
📚 Talk topics:
• What is the school subject Lebenskunde?
• Values, ethics, and social topics in the classroom
• Media literacy and education in today’s world
• Insights into everyday life as a teacher
• Personal experiences & an open Q&A session
Format:
The speaker part will last about 30–45 minutes.
Afterwards, we continue with free conversation, discussion questions, and small speaking games so everyone can practice German in a relaxed way.

• Listening comprehension with a native speaker
• Vocabulary related to education, media & society
• Speaking confidently in a supportive environment
Atmosphere:
Small group, café-style setting, conversations & networking
