Berlin Travel Community: Night at the Museum

Let's interject some art & culture into our next meetup and check out the current Gropius Bau exhibit, Rirkrit Tiravanija's HAPPINESS IS NOT ALWAYS FUN for their upcoming long evening this January 9th.

In honor of the museum's long evening, the exhibit will be open until 8pm with the standard admission charge of 9€ (reduced 6€). Additional events and lectures will occur simultaneously that are free of charge. You can buy your ticket for the exhibit in advance online or at the door but it may be faster to purchase in advance :)

We'll plan to meet at 6pm, tour the exhibit together from 6:15pm, and then check out the events from 7pm. More information on the evening's events:

Our fourth Long Evening begins with a lecture and performance by the artist Theresa Weber in the cinema of the Gropius Bau, followed by a conversation between சிந்துஜன் வரதராஜா (Sinthujan Varatharajah), essayist and political geographer, and مشترى هلال ( Moshtari Hilal), artist and author. The evening ends with a performance by the artist Nazanin Noori and the drummer and composer Andrea Belfi on the demo station, a sculptural stage by the artist Rirkrit Tiravanija.

Depending on the interests of the group, we can either stay for all of the evening's events or continue on to a local bar to discuss the exhibit and, as always, talk travel!
