Unreal Meetup Berlin 04/2024

It's time again to share your experiences with Unreal!
On April 24th, 7 pm, we'll have a few talks followed by an open stage where pros, students, and hobbyists are welcome to present their projects.

We have time for presentations from 7 to 9:30 pm. Afterwards, we have a separate space where we'll have time to mingle and enjoy drinks.

You can present without prior registration. Just make sure you can present your project within roughly 5 minutes. Also bring something to show - your project, a video, or images on your laptop or a USB stick.

Agenda:

"Empowering Developers" by David Radobenko, Unreal Generalist and Solo Developer:
"In this presentation, we’ll cover Unreal Engine 5 tools that empower developers. We’ll touch on individual development, collaboration, and programmer-focused tools."

"Hyperlinked Rituals" by Christian Schmidts, media artist and researcher at the Berlin University of the Arts:
"Hyperlinked Rituals is an artistic research project delving into performance methods within virtual environments. Utilizing the Unreal Engine plus some custom software, it crafts a 'playable' world where performers navigate and create live, spontaneous performances. This experimental approach combines open avatars, interactive spaces, and novel interface designs, focusing on the creation of a performative environment."
