After a long break, we're excited to announce our next WiDSML meetup! Join us on June 8th at 6:00 PM for an evening of insightful talks and networking opportunities.

Talk Outline:
Our featured speaker for the evening is Klea Sanka, a data scientist at StepStone. She will be presenting on "Uncovering Salary: The Science of Salary Predictions". During her talk, Klea will discuss the salary landscape in the German job market, the issues with data collection and approaches, how to get just the right features, pipeline end-to-end process, keeping track of metrics and automation processes, as well as the challenges we face with gender bias, data representation, and monotonicity in our predictions.

About the Speaker:
Klea Sanka is a Data Scientist at StepStone, where she works on developing data-driven solutions to solve human problems. She has a background in computer and software engineering and enjoys working in teams with people with diverse backgrounds. In her free time, she indulges in her hobbies, including playing Nintendo games, watching anime, exploring the mysteries of astro/physics, and enjoying a good plate of pasta.
