We’re thrilled to invite you to a special one-day workshop that blends the expressive magic of watercolour with the structure of typography. Whether you’re a creative professional, hobbyist, or just watercolour-curious, this is a chance to explore a unique artistic process that celebrates both precision and play.

Through hands-on experiments and guided exercises, we’ll explore how to create vibrant, expressive letters and words using the natural flow of watercolour. This isn’t your typical hand-lettering or calligraphy class—this is about embracing the unpredictable, working fully analogue, and discovering new ways to blend form and meaning.

• How to use watercolour techniques to embellish and express letterforms
• The role of timing, fluidity, and texture in creating unique typographic marks
• Ways to blend typographic structure with the looseness of watercolour
• How to let go of perfection and explore the balance of control vs. chaos in your art
• You’ll be learning from Molly Haig, a graphic designer, artist, and lecturer with a passion for unconventional type work.
