Let’s Paint Precious Stones!

Ever looked at a crystal or gemstone and thought, how on earth would I paint that?!

In this watercolour class, we’ll turn our attention to the fascinating world of minerals, crystals, and precious stones—exploring all those beautiful colours, transparent layers, reflections, textures, and unexpected shapes.

We’ll learn how to use watercolour to create the illusion of glowing crystals, polished surfaces and sparkling stones, playing with transparency, layering, colour mixing and light.

And don’t worry — you don’t need to be a geologist or a watercolour pro! We’ll break everything down into simple exercises and shapes before putting the techniques together in your own little collection of painted treasures.

No previous experience needed—just curiosity and a willingness to explore.

Material for watercolours is very specific. If you use poor-quality or non-professional material, you won't achieve the optimal results.
