19:00 - 19:45 - Huseyin Capan of Carbmee // Serverless Machine Learning with AWS Lambda

Huseyin will demonstrate how to build scalable and cost-effective machine learning applications using serverless computing. He'll showcase the use of an existing ML model from HuggingFace, which is deployed on AWS Lambda and integrated with other serverless services to create a robust architecture. Huseyin will also share his findings and suggest alternative uses for the model.

20:15 - 21:00 - Daniele Frasca of Seven.One & Roman Boiko of AWS // Serverless Latency is a Thing

Daniele and Roman have a focus on serverless applications and latency in serverless products. They will discuss the unpredictability of event-driven traffic and the need for a robust and scalable system, highlighting the limitations of Serverless Applications.
The talk will explore the Serverless First mentality and the latest serverless technology used to achieve better scalability, faster response times, and less infrastructure maintenance. They will also discuss the correlation between best practices and scalability in a synchronous application scenario, ending with an EDA application.
