Talk: Why AI Ethics and ESG Matter: From Compliance to Responsible AI Leadership
Overview: Mina will highlight why AI ethics matter and how the regulatory landscape is evolving. She will show how organizations can go beyond compliance toward true leadership in responsible AI - embedding ethical principles into daily work and long-term strategy. She’ll also explain why this is especially relevant for Deutsche Bank, where ESG is central, and how AI can support more sustainable and responsible business practices.
Bio: Mina is an AI expert, Tech Manager, author, and LinkedIn Top Voice. As Vice President of Technical Product Management at Deutsche Bank, she works at the intersection of Data & AI, Product Management, Marketing, and Customer Journeys. Previously, she held leadership roles in Cloud Platforms, Data Analytics, and Data Science at Axel Springer, idealo, and Funke Mediengruppe. In 2023, she published her acclaimed book FairTech.

Janina Renk (Google)
Talk: Reinforcement Learning Meets Generative AI: A Hands-On Journey
Overview: Janina will share her hands-on experiment of building a reinforcement learning agent in just eight hours with the help of generative AI. She’ll walk through the tools, challenges, and lessons learned, demonstrating what’s possible when curiosity meets experimentation and AI supports learning.
Bio: Janina is a Cloud AI Engineer at Google, helping customers tackle machine learning challenges and scale solutions on Google Cloud Platform. She holds a PhD in fundamental physics (researching dark energy) and has industry experience ranging from NLP applications in healthcare to AI at Google.
