## "The Blockchain & NFT edition" meetup in May ##
Our primary focus for the conversation will be evolved around blockchain and cryptocurrency, while the AI, AR and quantum computing can be a side topic in any way it's related to our primary topic.

In this meetup, we have a special guest who will initiate the conversation around the history of ‘digital art files' like JPEGs, how they differ from NFTs and what influence this new medium could have on the formation of future of societies.

The meetup session will follow as below.
15:00 - 15:15 Welcome message by organizer & the attendee's brief intro
15:15 - 15:30 [Opening chat: NFTs and how it has reshaped the relationship between art and society] by an industry expert
15:30 - 17:00 Discussion around NFTs & how blockchain technology could shape a more aesthetic future

## Initiator profile ##
Harsha Biswajit, Co Founder and Art Director of SPACEBISKIT, is a new media visual artist currently living and working in Berlin. His work primarily explores the changing nature of reality brought about by technological advancements in our society. This theme has run throughout all his projects over the years and most recently manifested itself in experimenting with and writing about NFTs and Blockchain in general to understand how this new technology is going to shape our future – from trust, money, and culture and how societies form around these ideas in the digital age. Before he entered the world of art, he was once dabbling with economics before deciding to make the dive as a full time artist in 2010.

This is the social gathering meetup for those working or interested in the deep tech area; blockchain, AI, AR, and quantum computing.

Note: We apply the Berlin Senate’s Covid regulation. Currently 2G+ rule applies for indoor meetings.

We will meet every first Saturday of the month, 15:00-17:00, at a cafe with great coffee and ambience in the Mitte area.

Please come & join us with an open mind & relaxing vibe! We welcome you all, like-minded people!

The location will be visible upon RSVP. We will book a table based on the number of RSVPs. For preventing it from no-show, we charge a very small fee of €5.

Please don’t forget to bring your covid negative test result or vaccine certificate.
