In this 4 weeks course you will be introduced to the wonderful world of acrylic paint! This is not a `follow along` class, but an in-depth dive into underdstanding the medium of acrylic and being able to use it to paint whatever you want. We cover knowledge of acrylics and materials, techniques, colour theory, and of course practical painting.
WEEK I: Introduction to acrylic paint, what it is and how to use it. Exploring mediums and painting
techniques. Paint a gradient. Brush control.
WEEK II: Colour theory / colour wheel. Develop a palette. How to begin a painting.
WEEK III: Composition, perspective. Paint a still life.
WEEK IV: Resolving an artwork. Display and critique
