PROGRAM'S POINTS:
ACADEMIC CLASSICAL APPROACH
The class can be followed as drop in or as a full class.
We will focus mainly on shading techniques as a mean of understanding and depicting the object / composition with volume and presence on the paper.
We will draw various objects, work on toned paper, introduce figure drawing by the end.
DETAILED PROGRAM:
OCT 28th: UNDERSTAND PERSPECTIVE and PLANES - practice on SKULL SKETCHING - pencil on paper
NOV 4th: TONED PAPER - Composition / sketches
NOV 11th: ( no class )
NOV 18th: DRAPERY or TEXTURES
NOV 25th: INTRO TO FIGURE proportions, volume, shading with live model
DEC 9th: FIGURE DRAWING with live model - toned paper or white paper ( student's choice )
