Meet Point: Bismark - the Statue of Bismark on the side of Siegessäule roundabout.
Start Time: 10:30

Sunday is the Tag des offenes Denkmals. Its also a lovely day for a cycle ride.
So the idea is to see a couple of sites and do a nice loop out to the NorthWest. Starting at the Siegessäule (Big pilllar with golden agel on it in teh middle of Tiergarden), we will head out west along the river, loop up to Siemens Stadt and go to the Haselhorst museum where we can see the inside of a very normal apartment ! (from the 1920s). Next its a sprint out West through the Spandauer Forset for Lunch at Waldhaus Saubucht. On the Way home we will visit the Hannah Hoch Haus for music and coffee. We end at the Hutfabrik near Gesundbrunnen
The Cycling
We are a not a racing bike group, but the pace is reasonable. Expect between 18 and 22 km per hour depending on who comes on the day.
Bring a good bike (doesn’t have to be special just in good order. All sports bikes can take part from tour bike, racers to mountain bikes. Heavy 3 speed city bikes would not be appropriate however).
What to Bring
Bring swim stuff, suncream, spare inner tube for your tyre size, cash, waterproofs
