This week we travel to see Alexander Haus. A place with a special history through multiple phases of 20th century Berlin history.
This history has been written up into a famous book by the Jewish man who's grandparents first built the house. You can find this book under 'house by the lake' or 'sommer haus am see' - depending what language you are looking for.
We are booked on a tour of this house at 3pm. This means:
a) We need to get there on time. Should be fine, but no punctures allowed!
b) You need to have a good breakfast/bring snacks because lunch on this tour will be late (after 4pm)
c) I need to give the tour guide reasonably exact numbers, so need you to commit or not with reasonable notice (Saturday noon).
d) You need to bring 7€ cash to pay for the tour (maybe 10 with a tip?)
The Cycling
We are a not a racing bike group, but the pace is reasonable. Expect between 18 and 22 km per hour depending on who comes on the day.
Bring a good bike (doesn’t have to be special just in good order. All sports bikes can take part from tour bike, racers to mountain bikes. Heavy 3 speed city bikes would not be appropriate however).

Bring swim stuff, suncream, spare inner tube for your tyre size, cash, waterproofs
