Introducing XFlow ("crossflow"): a learner's mining of a native's language.

Details

This is the first in a series of events created to introduce XFlow (pronounce it "crossflow"). We will meet on line via ZOOM to hear about the basic principle of XFlow: how to "mine" a native's language, how to make a tutor (YOUR tutor) out of any willing native speaker.

Most language courses are conceived with the instructor as the central actor. Students focus on the instructor's lesson plan: they repeat what the instructor wants them to repeat, they say what the instructor wants them to say, they learn the grammatical point the instructor emphasizes that day

That needs to change. The LEARNER needs to take central stage. HOW that can take place is what we will learn at the online event.

The event is free but we are keeping the number of attendees low, so please reserve your seat and please let us know ahead of time if you cannot attend.

See you Wednesday
