Berlin Playwrights’ Lab

Berlin Playwrights’ Lab is a collective of theatre writers dedicated to exploring, developing, and promoting original dramatic works in Berlin and beyond. We provide a collaborative space for playwrights at all stages of their careers — from emerging voices to established dramatists — to share works-in-progress, receive constructive feedback, and connect with directors, actors, and theatres.

Rooted in Berlin’s rich theatrical tradition and open to international perspectives, our mission is to support bold, diverse, and experimental storytelling for the stage. We organize regular readings, workshops, and networking events, fostering a community that values both craft and innovation.
