Saturday Adventure Hike: Baruth to Brand (24 km)
Details
On this hike, we cross fields, forests and villages, a (half abandoned) business park, more forest, find our way across and along the Dahme river (mosquito alert - bring repellent!), until we reach the village of Brand where trains run frequently to Berlin.
Meet us in the first car of the train RE8, departing from
Südkreuz station at 10:54 (platform 3 - direction Elsterwerda),
arriving at Baruth at 11:41.
Unless you are subscribed to the Deutschlandticket, you need to buy a train ticket to Baruth, Bahnhof and back from Brand/Tropical Islands.
Please note:
- As a grown-up, you are responsible for yourself.
- Come prepared for wet and windy weather.
- Wear appropriate footwear, we may come across some muddy sections.
- Bring enough water, mosquito repellent, food and some cash with you.
- Please be fair and only RSVP if you are sure you can make it and update if your plans change.
