Let's enjoy the last warm days of this summer and hike along a chain of lakes (including a boardwalk), fields, woods and villages!

There will be at least one opportunity for swimming, so bring your swimsuit and a towel.

A highlight is the Lindenberg railway viaduct, built at the end of the 19th century which we'll cross underneath.

The hike ends in the town of Lindenberg, known for astronomic research in the last century. From its train station we catch one of the trains that run every hour back to Königs Wusterhausen / Berlin.

Meet us in the first car of the train RE7, departing from
Ostkreuz station at 11:02 on platform 1,
arriving at Königs Wusterhausen at 11:20, then taking the Train RB36 at 11:33 on platform 3 to Wendisch Rietz, Bahnhof.

Unless you are subscribed to the Deutschlandticket, you need to buy a train ticket to Wendisch Rietz.

Please note:

  • As a grown-up, you are responsible for yourself.
  • Come prepared for wet and windy weather.
  • Wear appropriate footwear, we may come across some muddy and sandy sections.
  • Bring enough water, food and some cash with you.
  • Please be fair and only RSVP if you are sure you can make it and update if your plans change.

See you on Saturday!
