Berlin UXD No. 13 - Positive design describes the attempt to design for human flourishing. As user experience designers, we shape the environment of our fellow human beings. As a result, we carry a huge responsibility as our work has an impact on peoples' lives and can influence them in various ways.
At the 13th Berlin UXD Meetup, we address this topic by talking about two areas of design that are relevant for the majority of people: Education and communication. We will explore how digital tools can be used to support learning. And we will discuss how online communication should be designed to really benefit its users. We're very happy to have two speakers who have gathered a lot of expertise in the field.
* Christina Pautsch, former CPO and managing director @ iversity – Designing the Learning Experience: A Framework for Non-Teachers, Facilitators and Change Makers
* Mara Ziemann, product manager @ DuMont and co-founder @ Rohpost – Positive Communication: Designing Online Communication with Positive Psychology
Our host will be GoEuro, the app that allows you to plan your trip and compare prices across different means of transport and countries. We will meet in their awesome open space on the top floor, with beautiful views over Berlin.
Doors open at 7pm, the event starts at 7.15pm. Unfortunately there will be no video livestream this time.
We're looking forward to another inspiring night with you!
