UX Writing: Making Products talk!

Details
At the 15th event of Berlin UXD, we will explore the discipline of UX Writing in product development. UX Writers craft UI copy that guides users within a product and helps them interact with it. At our meetup, we discuss how to engage stakeholders in UX Writing at your own company and whether using humor in your product copy is a good idea.
For the talks, we have invited speakers that know exactly how to approach it, they will share their insights:
**Cynthia Lytle is a Senior UX Writer @GetYourGuide, where she works with product teams, content editors, localizers, support, and destination managers to cure the chaos of traveling, help customers have incredible experiences, and create a seamless B2B experience for partners.
🤝 Cynthia’s talk will focus on UX writing and the importance of stakeholder management for effective collaboration.
**Jill Koglatis is an experienced tech writer working @Signavio, with a growing interest in UX writing. Her professional goal is to eliminate annoyances for users. Her personal goal is to not be replaced by a robot 🤖 With these two goals in mind, she learns new things about the user experience daily, sometimes the hard way by being the annoyed user herself.
In her talk, Jill will share her findings when it comes to humor in UI copy. For this talk, she looked at funny UI copy a lot.
🏡 Our lovely host, crvsh.io - an initiative of Vodafone Germany, their mission is to develop communications solutions that help each of our 45 million customers better connect. They leverage the power of a global communications giant, move with the agility of a startup and specialize in creating digital products with immediate and lasting impact.
crvsh is located at Techspace, but to get to their cozy office, you don’t need to stop by the reception, just take the main stairs to the 2nd floor and follow the signage
There will be some pizza and drinks provided by the host. Thanks, crvsh! 🍕🍕
Doors open at 7pm, the event starts at 7.15pm. As usual, we will have an open mic, so feel free to bring any projects, open roles or other topics that you want to share with the rest of the community.
