It's Friday evening, time to relax and join Bermuda for a 'Double Event'.
Part 1: Steve Adams presents 'Curious about Hypnosis'
Have you ever wondered what hypnosis really is, where it came from, and why it continues to fascinate scientists, therapists, entertainers, and the general public alike?

We are privileged to welcome Steve Adams, an experienced Hypnotist who, during this engaging part of the Zoom session, explores the history of hypnosis, tracing its development from ancient healing traditions and mesmerism through to modern clinical applications and psychological research.

We will examine some of the key figures who shaped the field, including Franz Mesmer, James Braid, and Milton Erickson, and discover how ideas about hypnosis have evolved over the centuries.

Along the way, we will separate fact from fiction, addressing many of the common myths and misconceptions that surround the subject.
The session will also explore how hypnosis works. What happens when someone enters a hypnotic state? How does focused attention, imagination, and suggestion influence thoughts, feelings, and behaviour?

Drawing on both historical perspectives and current understanding, we will look at the theories behind hypnosis and its practical uses in areas such as personal development, performance enhancement, habit change, and wellbeing.

Whether you are completely new to hypnosis or already have some experience, this informative and interactive session will provide valuable insights and opportunities to ask questions throughout the presentation.

Total running time: 90 minutes approximately, including Q&A opportunities.
