Hands-on Al Coding Workflows with Skills & MCP
Details
As coding agents like Claude Code or Github Copilot are established tools in the software development industry, it is essential to customize behaviour to further enhance performance. Automizing workflows using techniques like custom skills is a first step we will investigate. We will then enhance the capabilities by implementing a custom MCP server and eventually setting up feedback loops.
We will enrich the mostly hands-on session with a short theory block about attack vectors with respect to prompt injections. We will also discuss design patterns to prevent those attacks.
What to bring
Please bring your own laptop with a running and licensed installation of Claude Code or Github Copilot. If you are using another coding agent, we may not be able to fully support you, but you are still welcome.
Beer and Pizza
As always we provide drinks and pizzas to share and we will use the break to discuss and share ideas about the hack night topic and beyond.
Who Should Attend?
This Hack Night is aimed at developers who already have programming experience and have worked with AI coding tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, or similar assistants. We will build on existing knowledge and focus on practical workflows, automation, and advanced techniques rather than introducing the basics of software development or AI.
