'BERN MEETUP' is an exclusive networking platform that connects young local and expat professionals with local and international students. A dedicated platform serving to unite young and active souls.
Please Note: ’Bern Meetup’ events are open only to participants of 18 to 40 years. This age limit is in accordance with the rules set by various student organizations in order to include local and international students in our group.
Our sole motto is to integrate local and international students with young professionals in Switzerland. We collaborate with multiple student organizations and likewise connect young professionals from LinkedIn, Facebook, and other platforms. Our events are ideal for students, young professionals in the early/mid phases of their careers, and youngsters who are new to Bern. We intend to bring together like-minded people and help them integrate into the community. Our mainstream events will focus on social networking through variety of events. We will also host career guidance and professional networking events. All events will be posted in English.
We make special reservations at bars, clubs, and restaurants to host our events. It is important to know the exact number of participants. So, we have to maintain an active list of participants who actually attend our events. We will remove members from our group for the following reasons:
1. Incomplete Meetup account without a full name and profile pictures (real image is important for identity).
2. Fake and suspicious accounts.
3. Disturbing other participants during or after an event. We take action only when someone complains to us.
4. Not fitting the age limit that is required to collaborate with student organizations.
Misbehavior of any kind will not be tolerated. Participants are requested to report to us if they experienced any discomfort.
We offer excellent events without any membership fees. Almost all our events are hosted for FREE. Entry fees are charged only for special events involving rental charges, and operational or prebooking costs.
We operate to create a healthy community to make you feel comfortable living in Bern. Our passion to meet new people will be reflected in the events that we are hosting. We will make sure that you find good friends through our events. Come and join us to experience the power of networking!
